If you’ve ever had a girlfriend - hopefully you have - you’ll know that when it comes to borrowing clothing from you, the first item they go to is a hoodie. They love them. Don’t know why but they just do. A woman’s tweet has gone viral after revealing an awkward encounter that played out in her house that is currently under construction - she’s been walking around wearing the builders hoodie for days thinking it was her boyfriend's. Scottish comedian Fern Brady, 35, shared the story to her followers and it was quick to rack up over 80,000 likes. The comedian tweeted “I've been wearing my boyfriend's hoodie around the house for the last week. I tried to give it back last night. "That's not my hoodie." Realised with horror I've been wearing our builder's hoodie. In front of the builder. Not only had she been wearing it around the house, but she liked it so much she revealed she’s also been sleeping in it. "I had a little sleep in it at one point. Came out my room. Said good morning to the builder. Wearing his clothes.” Could she be sending the builder mixed signals by wearing his clothes? Perhaps. She went on to tweet “After realising my mistake AFTER A WEEK I threw his hoodie into the room he's been working in. He put it in our living room. What does it mean? Am I going out with the builder now? He's pretty old.
