There are very few pet peeves that are as universally shared than the pure, unadulterated hatred that accompanies someone blocking in your driveway with their car. And one bricklayer from Margate has officially had enough. Tobe Bailey, 49, has persistently seen his driveway blocked by neighbours' cars and finally reached breaking point recently, by completely wrapping a Vauxhall Corsa in black cellophane to teach one of the offending neighbours a lesson they won't forget in a hurry. Father-of-seven Tobe said, "I live in a street with 26 houses and 24 parking spaces. Me and the Mrs spent about £2,000 putting a dropped curb in last year and clear signs telling people not to park there but people still do all the time." "At least two or three times a week, we get some idiot blocking us in."
Then, one night, when arriving home from work, Tobe noticed the latest offender's handiwork, which was also blocking in his daughter's car as well, and soon reached breaking point.

"I wrote a note and stuck it on the windscreen, telling the owner to move it. I opened a can of beer and sat on the balcony and waited. Nothing happened. I went and had dinner and still it was there after."
"I’d just had a load of pallet wrap delivered and I thought, 'right' and wrapped it across the car. The owner soon came out after that." The owner, however, was a new neighbour, unaware of Tobe's past frustrations, although that still doesn't forgive blocking in anyone's driveway.
But they did take the tradesman's revenge in good spirits. "She was very apologetic. She said 'very funny' and that she won't park there again."
"It only took her a few minutes to take the wrap off and her car was cleaner after because of it."
This isn't the first time Tobe has dished out revenge on an offending neighbour, either.
One previous victim saw their vehicle hoisted up with a car jack, making it impossible to move without Tobe's assistance. "He never parked there again" said Tobe of that particular incident.
