Toolstation, part of Travis Perkins, is rolling out its rapid delivery service to over 460 of its stores across the UK, following its successful trial in November in 44 stores. It will be used to meet the growing demand for on-site delivery from tradespeople and DIY customers. The service delivers to construction sites in as little as 30 minutes, and with over 10,000 products to choose from, it's ideal for busy trade customers working on the job. Delivery can be scheduled at a time that suits a tradesperson - up to seven days in advance - and is designed to save time and help trades stay focused on the job. Customers can check if the service is available in their area by checking their delivery postcode at https://www.toolstation.com/tradekart-delivery. To celebrate the launch, TradeKart is offering free delivery on all orders over £25 using code TS10 at checkout. https://www.toolstation.com/tradekart-delivery. TradeKart offers a rapid delivery service as a conduit between tradespeople and merchants. The deliveries are fulfilled via a network of over 150,000 drivers throughout the UK using partners including Uber, Gophr, and City Sprint. Customers place their order on the TradeKart app and can track it from store to door in real time for a £5 delivery fee. Toolstation’s customer director, Chris Other, said: “At Toolstation, our customers want affordable, quality products in their hands quickly. Our rapid delivery service offers convenience and speed above everything else, and rolling this out across most of our stores means tradespeople will no longer have to sit in traffic to pick up an unplanned item.”
