On this week's Electrical Show, Thomas Nagy draws attention to safety in the workplace as he chats with Peter Bennett executive director, Ladder Association about the dangers of working at heights. According to Peter, over 5,000 people in the UK were injured at work due to falls from heights in 2023 and 40 lost their lives. However, the real figure could be much higher, with just 12% of incidents being reported. Electrician, Tom Bickerton also joins the show to share his experience of workplace injuries. Tom, who lost his father to an onsite electrical accident, has been unfortunate enough to be involved with several accidents, including one which forced him off work for three months.
