Izzy the Bricky, host of The Bricklaying Show, invited three bricklayers onto the show so that they could talk about their health and fitness experiences. Joining Izzy on this week's show are Harrison Elliott, also know as Bench in Bricky, Ryan Money and Jay the Bricky. Elliott said: “For me, it’s a lot of trial and error in terms of finding the perfect blend of what would work for gym and keeping fit and my work as a bricklayer. I mean there are days that work can be so physical that the last thing you want to do is go to the gym. However, what I have tried to do is strike a balance so than one doesn’t impact the other. Money explained: “Basically, I was in a bad weight for years. As a lad growing up, I was big but not overly big as I used to play rugby as a kid. But things got out of control, I kept eating as a rugby player would but I wasn’t getting the exercise needed. At my heaviest, I weighed 34 and half stone and have now lost 17 stone. It took me 18 months to get back into shape and that translates to six kilos a month.” For the full show, listen below and enjoy!
