A plumber and heating engineer has had £5,000 worth of essential tools stolen from his van while he was spending a day at the Cheltenham Festival, Somerset Live reported. Now, Daniel Cain is raising money to help cover the costs after his uncle's van was broken into. Jason, a plumber and heating engineer, had gone to Cheltenham Races for a day out with his family. When they returned home, they discovered that a hole had been drilled through the door of his van, and all of his tools, worth around £5,000, were gone. This has left Jason unable to work, and his nephew, Daniel, is hoping to raise funds to replace the tools so that Jason can continue to provide for his family. Daniel said, "I'm raising money because my uncle's van was broken into last night, and all his tools were stolen. “A police report has been filed, but the likelihood of recovering them is low. Any donations are appreciated!" Here is the GoFundMe page for any donations.
