On this week's episode, Joel Bardall and Todd Von Joel are joined by Nick Sammut, Bryan Dennett and Peter Clark who talk about the worst colour schemes they’ve seen customers pick, awkward customers and dodgy work by other tradespeople. According to Nick Sammut, the worst colour scheme a client picked was luminous lime green. "We were painting a client's basement, and he was left to make a colour choice while his partner was away," he explains. Sammut thinks it was atrocious. A week later they received a call to repaint from the partner. Peter Clark thinks the worst colour scheme he's seen is "dark grey walls with magnolia windowsills and mouldings". "It was an absolute nightmare," he adds. He describes his worst customer: "After being in the business for 42 years, this year I had a non-paying customer for the first time." For fourth-generation decorator Bryan Dennett, the worst colour scheme a client picked was tangerine orange and lime green. "It was a Victorian house with lovely sliding sash windows and deep purple with gold pattern carpet. It was an awful combination." Listen to the full episode here.
