The Fix Radio Street Team racked up over 20,000 miles and 235 days on the road last year, as it travelled up and down the country, handing out breakfast and playing Fix’s upbeat soundtrack. In total the team visited 361 locations and met 12,839 tradespeople at building merchants, trade shows or building sites. “2022 was a great year for the Street Team – we travelled further, visited more locations and met more tradespeople than ever before,” said Kasia Gorzycka, head of promotions with Fix Radio. The team also worked with some of the biggest brands in the industry, including Toupret, Ring, Screwfix, Checkatrade, Tradify, Speedy Hire and Valspar. The street team is back out on the road at the end of January with Checkatrade. The four-week tour will visit 20 locations around London, offering tradespeople the opportunity to grab breakfast, take advantage of Checkatrade promotions and enter a competition to win a Makita DAB site radio. “We’re looking forward to our first tour of 2023. Keep an eye out for us at your local building merchants,” she added.
