Painters and decorators are coming together next week for a battle royale at Fix Radio’s second Tradesperson of the Year Awards. Being held alongside UK Construction Week at the Excel Centre in London, the awards ceremony hosted by Clive Holland will bring together shortlist of talented tradespeople to compete to be named Painter & Decorator of the Year. "The quality of nominations is very high - the work on display is excellent," said Greg Wilson, head of content, Fix Radio. The award category is sponsored this year by Toupret. “We’re looking forward to welcoming everybody back to the awards next week,” said Wilson, “We’ve been away for two years due to COVID, so it is going to be a real pleasure to bring everybody together for this event,” he added. Fix Radio will give away 11 awards across the evening, covering most major trades. The painting and decorating category was amongst the most competitive this year, with a large number of high-quality nominations. “We can’t wait to unveil the winner on the 4th of May,” added Wilson.
