Fix Radio gained 10,000 streamed listening hours in July, as it continued to build its audience of tradespeople. The Builders Station, which only began broadcasting nationally in May, has been focusing on building listening hours and reach by revamping its music and entertainment offering. “We’re focused on aggressively building reach and hours across the station,” said Louis Timpany, CEO and founder of Fix Radio. “We’re a few months into our national expansion plan, and we’re ahead of schedule. We’re seeing encouraging growth across all our channels,” he added. Alongside the strong online performance, Fix Radio’s social media accounts have also grown aggressively. The Builders Station has over 26,000 followers on Instagram – up over 150% year-on-year. The TikTok account, which was only started six months ago, has 12,000 followers and the Facebook community now connects 42,000 tradespeople. Podcast download numbers also continue to grow. In the second quarter, the Builders Station had over 50,000 podcast downloads across seven weekly podcasts. Fix Radio’s year-on-year podcast downloads were 123% up in July 2022. In August the Builders Station was rapidly closing in on a quarter of million podcast downloads since November 2020. To listen to our range of podcasts, click here.
