The Dulux Academy has extended its exterior training offering with a new facility at its flagship site in Slough, Painting & Decorating News reported. The Mews is an outdoor training space that simulates the real-life conditions that decorators will experience on the job, better preparing them for exterior work. The Mews will host various exterior painting courses, all led by skilled trainers at the Dulux Academy. This includes the new Stage 3 uPVC Spray course, a testament to its commitment to providing top-notch training. The two-day Stage 3 uPVC Spray course, guided by associate trainer James Wildish, a uPVC spraying specialist, is designed to help decorators expand their business horizons. Vickie Mather, Dulux Academy lead, said: “The Mews is an exciting new offering from Dulux Academy that will allow tradespeople to test their newfound skills under realistic conditions. “We have named it The Mews – which stands for Modern Exteriors With Spray – to reflect the row of small houses that make up the facility. The Mews includes a garden area with cladding, fences, walls and upcycled furniture that will be used for exterior training.”
