In a video posted on social media, Nick Knowles encouraged the local community to come down and help on the latest DIY SOS project, according The Shuttle. The popular show has been filming in Bewdley this week as they set out to transform the lives of a local family. Businesses from the area and beyond have been getting involved in the build, but the team said they are short on carpenters and plasterers. Nick Knowles said: "We're on DIY SOS in the West Midlands in Bewdley, which is somewhat near Kidderminster. "If you're anywhere near that area. You can nip up the M5 or down the M42 or across from wherever and join us if you're a chippy, a carpenter, a joiner. Come and join in. "We need five or six of you for the weekend. It would make a massive difference if you could help give us a few hours on Saturday or Sunday." He also issued a plea for TVs to help the family and has asked people to get in touch by emailing diysoskidderminster@southshore.uk
