Joel Bardall and show regular Todd Von Joel welcome back Alex Woodward, drummer from indie band Black Honey to the studio to share stories about touring, and discuss his alternative career as a decorator. "I love touring. We do a lot of recordings and studio work, but the touring part is always my favourite. I get a real buzz from it, going out on stage and seeing fans," said Woodard. "If it's not a festival, you're converting people to become new fans. That sort of feeling is amazing. We do quite a few shows a year and there's always a couple of stand-out ones. Last year we played the main stage at Reading Festival. It was outstanding," he explained. He also disclosed some of the popular misconceptions people have about musicians and talked about the similarities between musicians and decorators. You can listen to the whole show here.
