An electrician has said he may be forced to quit the country and move to Spain as his business is being “hammered” under the Labour government. Speaking on GB News last week, Dan Byrne said “I’m considering moving the family to Spain as an alternative because it’s a bit of a dire environment for small businesses in the UK.” Bryne, who runs an electrical firm with 4 employees went on to criticise Labour’s pledge not to increase taxes on working people, saying it was bad news for employers like him. He added: “We’ve been established for over ten years. And it’s not getting any better.” --- An army of tradespeople and volunteers from the Kidderminster area have come together to complete the latest DIY SOS project. The Big Build, which was unveiled on Halloween, redeveloped a property for a local family in just two weeks. Michael Gough, trade manager with Tile Choice, who volunteered on the project, told his local newspaper that events “like this make you think how lucky we are in life”. --- Two Scottish men who’ve built a collection of 6,000 bricks are looking for somewhere to house them all. Mark Cranston and Ian Suddaby have both spent the last 15 years collecting Scottish bricks from around the world.
