A scaffolder based in London is crowdfunding to fight the rollout of ULEZ. Earlier this year Noel Willcox, MD with Elevation Access had thousands of pounds worth of fines for driving in a low emission zone overturned at an appeal tribunal. He successfully argued that the LEZ road signs were illegal because they didn’t provide information about the fines. Willock is now raising funds for lawyers to fight a court battle against ULEZ. Transport for London maintains it only lost the initial tribunal case because it failed to submit evidence in time. --- Bricklaying robot, the Hadrian X can now build a tennis court sized property in just four hours. Last month, on a testing and calibration run, the ‘next gen’ robot demonstrated a sustained bricklaying rate of 300 USA-format masonry blocks per hour. FBR, the maker of the Hadrian, expects to have its first and second versions of the robot in the US market this year. --- And finally, Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit has topped a Spotify list of tradespeople’s Top 50 songs – that’s according to Toolbox by Admiral. The Killers’ 2004 smash hit Mr Brightside came in second, closely followed by AC/DC’s Back in Black.
