Posted: Friday, April 25th, 2025

This year’s Apprentice winner, Dean Franklin has been accused of being a rogue trader, by the Sun.

The newspaper claims Franklin’s air-conditioning firm, ADL didn’t obtain its F-Gas certificate over a 17-month period.

A F-Gas certificate is required by the Environment Agency to show that the fluorinated gases used in air-con units can be handled properly.

The 35-year-old from Hornchurch in east London, told the BBC he wasn’t aware of any investigation and had been F-Gas registered since 2014.

The Environment Agency said it was investigating a potential breach of regulations.
