Supporting Women in the Trades

The UK needs more skilled workers, with a shortage expected to reach 250,000 by 2030*. But right now, only 2% of trade professionals are women*.

One big reason? Many girls don’t see female role models in these jobs.

In fact, most girls leaving school say they don’t know any women working in the trades, and half feel they have fewer chances than boys to get into the industry.
